Passivos
O financiamento, entendido como a antecipação de recursos financeiros frente ao pagamento de juros, é, em teoria, um excelente instrumento de alavancagem para pessoas, tanto do ponto de vista pessoal como profissional, assim como para as empresas. Com o financiamento é possível começar a produzir antes de receber ou consumir antes de ter os recursos. No entanto, para que funcione de forma adequada, as taxas de juros dos empréstimos devem ser baixas.
Imagine financiar todo o seu consultório (aproximadamente R$100.000,000 para um consultório bem simples) a uma taxa de 5% ao mês (facilmente superada aqui no Brasil) por 5 anos apenas. Você teria que produzir R$63.0000,00 por ano só para pagar o empréstimo. 63% num único ano. Você ainda teria que pagar seus gastos fixos, variáveis, impostos e fazer sobrar dinheiro para viver. Quase impossível. O negócio teria que ser muito rentável. Conclusão: a dívida como instrumento de alavancagem, aqui, não é adequada.
Sobra então a possibilidade de trabalhar em um emprego e juntar dinheiro para comprar seu consultório. Com o tempo você irá fazendo a transição do trabalho assalariado para o de autônomo. Enquanto os pacientes vão aumentando no consultório e o faturamento subindo, o trabalho como empregado vai diminuindo. No momento oportuno, então, começa-se a se dedicar ao consultório em tempo total (e me diga se há muitas profissões permitem isso, além de Odontologia). O processo pode ser mais lento do que o esperado, mas é mais sustentável e menos arriscado. Na minha opinião essa é forma mais indicada hoje. Mas, cuidado! Ao determinar o momento da transição leve em conta que existem outros passivos além dos empréstimos. Há os passíveis invisíveis e você deve estar preparado para eles.
O mais importante é o passivo trabalhista. Consultórios necessitam de funcionários e quando você, por algum motivo, tiver que dispensar um deles, e hoje há vários, verá que isso custa muito caro. 13o. salário proporcional; férias proporcionais; 50% de multa sobre o saldo do FGTS; aviso prévio (ou você quer esse funcionário trabalhando mais um dia sequer para você depois de ser dispensado?); mais algumas quantias dependendo do acordo sindical e; por aí vai. E, o pior de tudo: enfrentar os custos dos processos trabalhistas, um disparate no nosso sistema de organização trabalhista.
Por baixo, se um funcionário, com salário de R $1.000,00, trabalhou para você um ano e foi dispensado ele custará R$1.000,00 de aviso prévio; mais ou menos R$500,00 de proporcionais de 13o. salário e férias; R$500,00 de multa sobre o FGTS; custos de processos trabalhistas com processos – ?!?!?!?!? Ou seja, no mínimo R$2.000,00. Imagine o que acontece para o segundo ano, terceiro ano ………. some agora o que pode acontecer com um processo trabalhista. O céu é o limite. Minha sugestão é que você se prepare para isso poupando ao mês 20% do salário do funcionário. Outra dica é: tenha o mínimo possível de funcionários, como qualquer empresa enxuta e lucrativa.
Outro passivo importante corresponde aos custos para deixar um imóvel alugado. Multa, condomínio, meses ainda por pagar contratualmente. É muito fácil ter que dispender um bom dinheiro para fazer frente a esses compromissos. Novamente, esse dinheiro tem que estar designado para essa finalidade. É dinheiro do seu consultório. Não é seu. Ele fica separado na “poupança” do consultório.
Bom, e para quem já tem uma estrutura rodando e está sentindo os efeitos da economia em baixa? Menos pacientes, menos procedimentos, menos faturamento…….
Se você começou do jeito certo e fez a lição de casa, agora é tempo de, caso necessário, diminuir a sua estrutura. Menos funcionários, imóvel menor, menos salas de atendimento, menos consumo de novidades desnecessárias. Use a “poupança” do consultório para poder tomar essas medidas. Faça o que tem que ser feito e prepare-se para a nova onda de crescimento.
Se você não fez a lição de casa a vida vai ser dura. Provavelmente você terá que tomar as mesmas medidas do sujeito que se preparou e mais. Terá que criar um passivo financeiro com seu banco para obter recursos para pagar pelos passivos invisíveis e provavelmente terá que voltar para a situação de ter um consultório em tempo parcial e trabalhar como empregado. Mesmo assim tome as medidas sem adiar. Encare isso como uma situação provisória. Economize o máximo possível para pagar as dívidas e adote uma estratégia de negócio para seu consultório mais compatível com o momento atual. Encare isso como uma situação provisória e como aprendizado, mas não desista do seu consultório nem pragueje a respeito da sua profissão. A carreira de cirurgião-dentista é excelente, porém deve ser bem administrada como em qualquer outra profissão.
